Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical Hypnotherapy is an amazingly effective therapy and is often directly responsible for major changes in an individual’s life pattern. One of the most pleasant and relaxing natural therapies, it utilises hypnosis as a gentle tool for powerful healing transformation.

Hypnosis is a natural state of a minds focused relaxation as our mind slips in and out of hypnotic trance numerous times in our everyday living. During a hypnotherapy session, carefully worded suggestions and scripts are used to help you create the life you want by re-programming thoughts, feelings and behaviors. When we seek to work directly with the subconscious mind we are accessing the roots of our current feelings, behaviors and beliefs.

It may be helpful to know you are fully in control at all times when under hypnosis and you don’t have to take on any suggestions if you don’t want to. If necessary you can bring yourself out of hypnosis.

  • Introduce you to hypnosis

In subsequent sessions we will follow your individual therapy plan. In doing so, I may use a variety of proven hypnotherapeutic tools which may include:

  • Various techniques for positive change

  • Regression therapy to help determine the cause of presenting symptoms or mental blocks

  • Stories, imagery, metaphors, reframing or direct suggestions

  • Reinforcement of learning for lasting results

  • Self-hypnosis as a self-care tools to strengthen change.
